Notice of Monticello Estate Sale Results

Charlottesville, Va. Jan. 20.—The sale of the personal property of the late Thomas Jefferson, commenced at Monticello on Monday last, agreeable to the notice previously given in the advertisement of the executor. The sale continued from day to day until Thursday evening—all the personal property was sold except a few articles, which are to be removed to some of the cities and there sold, as heretofore stated in the advertisement of the executor.
