John C. Page to Martha B. Eppes

My dear Madam

Lucy Jane, Mary, & myself reached home last night, all well—I hope you & yours, have enjoyed good health, since we parted: we left yr Mary, & Lavinia very happy—I enclose you a letter from the former, & have one from Mrs Baker, but it is in a Trunk, of which Mary has the key—

I send by Arthur, such of the articles as you requested me to procure, as I could bring with me—the others, will come in a boat, as soon as the Ice breaks up. With love to all, accept the renewed assurance of my sincere friendship.

John C. Page

P.S. I hand you a letter from Mr Robinson, which I found at the office last night.

J. C. P.

The frozen roads have nearly destroyed some of our articles.
