I cannot let Ned set out for the Mountains without a line to enquire after my belov’d Patsys health & her dear family, & could I flatter my self you would favor me with one line, saying all were well it would be most greatful to my soul—
If your amiable Father is with you tender our best affections to him—I am almost tempted to ask the favor of his instrument this winter, indeed if I was certain his new one had come to hand would accept his friendly offer—& beg you to send me a little solemn musick—as it is now one of the greatest gratifications I have on earth & could I please my self with the hope of enjoying the company of your self & family at Eppington this winter it would delight us all—
