Andrew Smith to Arthur S. Brockenbrough
Dear Sir | Richmond 13th June 1821 |
Mr Micow handed me yours of the 6th Inst—I hope the Cement has reached the place of its destination, and met your approbation— I sent by the Boat, printed directions, similar, I presume, to those forwarded you by Messrs Wm Dawson & Co of Baltimore, the Agents of the Inventors, and for whom I sell the Cement at the same rate it is sold for at Baltimore and Newyork—Mr Dawson writes me the Article has got into such demand, that he had to borrow back, the small quantity wch he sent me round, by way of trial—I have only twenty Casks of it remaining, in very good order— if more is wanted for the University, I hope to hear from you in time—
