J’ose espèrer, mon bon ami, que tu Seras leur mentor pendant le Séjour qu’ils feront dans ce pays, et que guidé par toi Soit dans leurs études Soit dans leur conduite, qu’ils feront des Sujets qui feront honneur aux états-unis.
Comme ils ne parlent pas bien la langue anglaise, je crois qu’il Serait nécessaire qu’ils l’etudient avant de Suivre les cours; d’ailleurs l’année classique est déjà très avancé. enfin tu feras pr eux tout ce que tu jugeras convenable, et je m’en rapporte entieremt à toi pr les diriger; comme ils n’ont pas encore une grande expérience dans les affaires, tu Seras1 obligé de leur donner Souvent des conseils. je leur ai donné un check de $800.
