Joseph C. Cabell to Thomas Mann Randolph

Dear Sir,

On casting my eye over the paper respecting the poor school system I find an error in the case of Nelson County. There is no draft for 1820. Whereas I am sure the county did draw—and it is manifest that this must have been the case—because so great a balance could not otherwise exist. Might it not be well for you to examine & correct this error. If you think it important to examine the correctness of the paper in other respects, we could probably wait for it till tomorrow morning.

Respectfully & truly yours
Jos: C: Cabell.
